GRANULAR DRUMS

Granular drums is a sample pack created as part of a sound design video series for Wired Tunes.

There I show how to make a Kick, Snare, Hihat and Cymbal on the free Vital synthesizer. Then I show how to make octachains with it. Using chains on the octatrack I create generative loops with probability and parameter locks.

The pack is perfect for layering drums.

Deep kicks, heavily stretched samples and loops with a granular feel.

Anyone who has ever touched the “rate” knob in the octatrack knows what I'm talkin' about!
